My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful elven princess was born in our care as the result of a secret and forbidden assignation between two of our foster bunnies. Human barriers were no match for the determination of the two lovebirds, and the result was a litter of female bunnies of great loveliness. All of them are named after strong female characters in the Rings of Power saga, and thus a new saga is launched – the Ears of Power!

Galadriel does justice to her elven namesake with both her beauty and her regal bearing. She is a gentle soul, and when she first meets new humans she is shy and cautious; however, a bit of patience (and some rabbit treats hidden about one’s person) will be rewarded with her interest and permission to pet her. Galadriel’s generous and expressive ears are ever vigilant, and you may rest assured that any evil attempting to sneak into her territory will be greeted with loud thumps. If you are seeking a rabbit who will be both a sweet-tempered friend and a powerful ally, look no further! Galadriel is eager to join a loving human family.

We adopt to indoor homes only! If you are interested in adopting a bunny from Orlando Rabbit Care and Adoptions or would like more information on rabbit care, please visit our website at: http://www.orlandorabbit.org. The first step to our adoption process is to complete an adoption application, which can be found here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/55856/generic . Then one of our volunteers will reach out to you via email to schedule a time to speak with you. If you don’t see the email in a day or two, please check your spam folder!

Our Adoption Fee/Donation for a single rabbit is $100, a pair is $170, and a triple is $200. This helps to offset the cost of having the rabbits altered, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as any medical care that may have been required.

Additional adoption info

For those that want to bond a new rabbit with an existing rabbit, we conduct bonding events where the home rabbit can meet several rabbits to find a potential match. We work with the adopting family to help ensure that the rabbits bond. We take back the adoptive rabbit if there is not a match.

Our adoption agreement specifies that we will take any adopted rabbit back, should the home situation change in the future.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster-based rescue where our available animals are kept in private homes.

You can see our rabbits online, then make an appointment to meet the rabbit(s) you select.

From time-to-time, we conduct adoption events where you can meet multiple rabbits. Because of RHDV2, these events have been paused.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue and educational group dedicated to the health, care and enjoyment of house rabbits. We believe that pet rabbits are family members and should be housed indoors, should be fed a healthy diet, should be spayed or neutered, and should receive quality medical care. Our organization strives to provide bunny parents with information to help them care for their rabbit.
