My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Micky is a Yorkie boy weighing 6.2 pounds. He is 9 years old and is being fostered in Stuart FL.

Bio Update 6/3/23: Micky is a happy boy and feeling so much better since his dental surgery. He engages in the cutest play sessions with his foster family's Yorkies and gets along well with everyone. Micky would be happy as a single pup if his person was home more often than not, but would also be great in a home with other small dogs to play with. Micky is "chill" and easy to care for. He loves a good lap and he loves a good nap! He thoroughly enjoys being outside for walks during the cooler parts of the day, and goes right to the door when he sees his leash. This guy is a keeper!

Updated bio 5/24/23: Micky did great yesterday at his vet visit. His senior bloodwork panel was perfect, and he did well under anesthesia. Micky arrived with terrible teeth...the vet even commented on how sad it was and how miserable he must have been. He only had 17 teeth left and all were extracted yesterday. I think we are fortunate that his overall health and bloodwork is normal considering the extent of the dental disease. He was also neutered and chipped yesterday. He will be on Clavamox for another week. The vet noted two small growths on two different legs and said they were not of concern, so she did not remove them. Mickey is looking for his forever home and his foster mom is accepting applications at this time.
