ADOPTED ON AD 06-30-23 We are pleased to announce for adoption a wonderful, heroic and beautiful German shepherd, "Lady Amy ". This young (5 months) lady is extremely special having survived a broken femur, poor care and abandonment to become a fun loving, people oriented, dog friendly and wide-open bundle of joy. We rescued Amy at 8 weeks after she was abandoned at our local vet’s office with the broken leg, which would require surgery.

Little Amy also was poorly nourished and required complete vetting. Having said all of this our girl has been an absolute trooper, handling the surgery very well, developing her personality (total love sponge) very well, dealing with all of the rehabilitation very well and establishing her future without looking back. All in our rescue have been amazed by her strength of character and her response to all of our training and socialization programs. I have to admit that we probably spoiled just a bit but it just could not be helped! In our care Amy has grown from 10 pounds to almost 50 pounds, becoming a well-muscled beauty with a gorgeous sable coat and a perfect symmetry/gait. If you have the background, time and patience to develop this puppy, I am 100% sure that she will be a true superstar
