Sophia is a 4-year-old cat with a tender, cautious spirit who’s overwhelmed in the shelter. She’s very scared and timid at first, but with a little affection she begins to relax and show her gentle side. Sophia is also facing serious medical needs — a fractured maxillary canine tooth and fractured/luxated metatarsals in her right hind leg that will require amputation or extensive orthopedic surgery. She urgently needs a calm foster or forever home where she can heal safely, receive proper veterinary care, and finally feel secure.
