Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adam is an adorable, personable, and healthy, two-year-old, male black and tan neutered smooth coat guinea pig looking for a loving guardian.
Adam was relinquished as a single guinea pig. Friends of Petraits Rescue had him neutered so he can live happily ever after, possibly with a female companion. He’s very sweet and handleable.
He would love a caring home with people who will keep him well-fed, nails trimmed, and his habitat nice and clean.
He has a healthy appetite and eats unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, a cup of fresh salad each day and an 1/8 cup of pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which he gets from his pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, or some of his dark leafy greens.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Adam please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
His adoption fee of $75 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, we’ll include a kit of absolutely everything you need to care for him including his large cage, pellets, hay, hidey hut, and water bottle.
He is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
