Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello Everyone,
You probably heard about me. My name is Juliette. I was taken to Animal Care and Control in severe pain with a broken leg, with the bone in my leg protruding from my frail body. I was severely malnourished and very near death.
My story started when I was about 5-6 weeks old when I was taken away from my mother to be sold in a pet store. I was purchased as a gift for a 7 years old child. I was kept in a very small cage, with little nourishment. I started losing weight and I wasn’t happy there. I missed my mom and siblings. In an attempt to escape from that prison, and trying to find some food, I ended up breaking my leg. I was in excruciating pain. I hoped that my family would take me to a vet to address my injury, but instead they just dumped me in their back yard and forgot about me. I was in terrible pain, hungry, thirsty and forced to eat what little grass there was. But because of my intense pain, and my twisted/broken leg, I could not move much in order to care for myself. I started wasting away. After many days I was able to drag myself into a neighbor's yard. A nice lady saw my condition and was able to catch me, which was not a hard task as I could barely move. This kind lady took me to a shelter. The shelter then contacted ECRR and asked if they would take me. If not, I would be euthanized. Upon arrival I was immediately taken to a Vet to address my broken leg and my malnourished body. The Vet indicated that my surgery would be risky, as my body was basically skin and bones but I had to have my twisted leg amputated, as the exposed bone was infected and it could lead to sepsis. Fortunately and with God's grace, I survived the surgery.
I do miss my leg, but as the lady from the rescue says nothing stops me. She always praises me for using the litter box. She also says that I am an EXTREMELY sweet girl who love cuddles and give kisses. 🥰
I am about 6 months old, fully recovered, vaccinated and microchipped.
My dream is to go to my forever home and meet a handsome husbun ❤️❤️❤️
Would you make my dream come true? If so please fill out an application so the lady from the rescue can contact you.
