My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I've been waiting for a family since I got picked up by animal control on may 30.2023!! Maybe this year I'll be able to find a family ! I do get along with other dogs the same size as me (50lb +) but have yet been small dog or cat tested. I usually get along with most animals with proper introductions. If you love my floppy ears that look like a beagle but a shepherd body , contact my caretakers to be approved for a meet-and-greet !

More about this shelter

We offer a wide variety of services to our community: We take in stray, abandoned, and unwanted animals, we hold daily adoptions (all day long) at our shelter, weekly adoption events, we offer a low cost spay and neuter program to the public, we offer low-cost microchipping, we provide a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program for feral cats, take and provide information for those who inquire about lost and/or found animals and questions pertaining to Animal Control.

We work with several different shelters and rescue groups outside of the Imperial Valley. We try to send out as many of our animals as we can to ensure that our animals get a second chance at a happy, healthy, and long life. They more than deserve it!
