My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy ya’ll! So I see my adorable pics (if I do say so myself) have reeled you in to get a litl’ more close
up/personal with me. Not surprised, I am cute. So, that bein’ said, let’s get acquainted….
I suppose I should introduce myself, as a polite Southern gent would be expected to do even though my
“shelter name” is CHIPPER! Bark!
So, without further adieu, let’s spotlight me, this is a saga about me after all!
Still reading? Yeh you are .
Don’t let the name deter you, please, you can/will change it, PLEASE DO!
Ahem, ok, so, I was officially brought into a Texas kill shelter 5/2/23, not due to any fault if my own, I
swear and paw on the bible. I was forced to live in a cramped, stinky, hard /rough floored kennel, the
food was icky, the water was not clean. I never saw the light of day, didn’t enjoy the scent of fresh air or
flowers, there was no longer lush, green grass on which I could to romp, run, roll and rest :sniff:.
I never lost hope and fur good reason….one day something felt different, lighter…
I heard footsteps approaching my kennel. Sniff, wag, wag, wag, bark? The door opened A happy voice
called to me, walked in and pet me. There was excitement in here voice and warmth in her caresses.
Gently a collar and leash were place on me and through the open door we commenced to the end of the
long isle. We walked together down a differed hallway, into a large busy room with people and dogs on
the leashes.
We exited another set of doors to bright light but this time there was sun, clouds, fresh fragrant air and
grass. YES GRASS. So I peed. Just had to…
I was greeted by a lady who simply opened the door, patiently waited to let me jump in, truth be told,
she did not have to wait long. Just sayin’.
She spoke softly and told me I was goin’ to a place to relax, run and get yummy food, fresh water and
meet some other canines and then I would be goin’ on an adventure North to find my furever home.
Yeee haw!
We stopped for some scrumptious nibbles and arrived at the temporary doggie hotel. I ate, drank, slept,
walked awesomely on the leash and ran like the wind outside in a big area!
So, my new journey commences the 29th of this month and I will be arriving in the New England area
next Saturday (unless you have another location where I can start my new life with you….)
So to save time as so you can scoop me up and take me “HOME”, PLEASE!, this is a bit bout’ me
Skirtin’ over the name…think of one that suits me and my charmin’, spunky, sweet, fun, cuddly, active
and loveable personality (to just name some lovely traits of mine.
Also need to know/honorable mentionable facts bout’ me…

Come meet me, love me, adopt me, take me home and be mine furever.
Till our paths meet and paws touch.
