Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the beautiful Zeema! She is 10 months old and 50 lbs. She is a gorgeous red color with the softest fur.
This high energy girl has never met a stranger- loves people (grown ups and kids alike) and dogs (not cat tested). She will need a fenced in yard to run in and because of her high energy will be a best fit for a family who is home most of the time and will not be a fit if all adults work outside of the home full-time.
Though she is extremely sweet, she is lacking in some of her training and will need a family that is patient and is willing to put in the work to teach her all she needs to know- including possible investment in training. She is crate trained, learning and doing pretty well with potty and leash training, but has continued needs with house manners. She would like to have another playful dog to run and play with, but that’s not a requirement.
If your family sounds like a good fit, please apply for a meet!
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
