My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ARRIVING IN WI on Saturday June 17th-

Maggie is a an adorable 4 year old Rat Terrier mix who weighs 18 pounds.

Maggie was found dumped on a old back road in southern Texas. The veterinarian discovered she had likely been hit by a car as a pup and the result is that her front legs are a little crooked, but they do not bother her and they do not require treatment. She is currently taking joint supplements as a preventative measure. Maggie is a couch potato, and she is very mellow. She loves holding your hand in her mouth, she gives kisses and all around just a sweet girl!

She has been working on her leash walking skills and is potty trained.

She is spayed, tested heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition.

Maggie's adoption fee will contribute to our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the Midwest. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis.

She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Saturday June 17th, and will be available for to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, between noon and 4 pm by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below.

Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon pick up. Should you find that she is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable.
