Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Stella. The before and after grooming pictures of her are shocking. Stella was a stray in Fresno. We just can't imagine how long Stella was on the streets, fending for herself. As you can see, she was horribly matted and dirty. Stella arrived shy, skittish and didn't want humans to get too close. She has blossomed into an affectionate girl that loves to sit next to you and wait patiently to be petted. She is still a little bit wary, so a calm, quiet home would be best for Stella.
Stella is approximately 6 years old. She has been fully vetted and unfortunately Stella has some back and hip dysplasia. She gets a long just fine, but should not be taken on long walks, nor is she able to jump.
If you are interested in Stella, please go on our website at norcalcockerrescue.org and fill out an adoption application.
