My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well, hey there! I'm Collin, the smoothest indoor kitty this side of the neighborhood! Started my life as a street-smart feline, but now I'm aiming for the stars, seeking out that forever home where I can plant my paws for good. I'm an orange tabby with a personality as vibrant as my fur, and I'm here to steal your heart.

When it comes to personal space, let's just say I'm all about that cozy closeness. I'll stick to you like glue, weaving my way into your day with my irresistible charm and adorable antics until you can't help but spoil me rotten with all the toys and kitty hideouts a cat could dream of.

Chit-chat? Oh, I've got that covered! I'll meow your ear off until you understand it's time to play. Sure, some may say I get a bit rowdy, but hey, life's no fun without a little excitement, right? "Work Hard, Play Harder" – that's my motto, and I live it to the max.

I'm on the lookout for a snug and secure forever home, a place where I can let loose my playful spirit. Whether it's just you and me or a whole crew of cool cats, I'm down for the adventure. Count on me to bring endless joy, cuddles, and giggles into your life.

So, are you ready to welcome a kitty like me into your heart and home? Together, we'll embark on a whirlwind journey filled with love, laughter, and a whole symphony of purrs. Let's create memories that'll warm our hearts for a lifetime.

More about this rescue

Who We Are
Bailey's Human Rescue, Incorporated (BHR) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation based in Johnston County, North Carolina. BHR has established the first Trap Neuter Return (TNR) program in Johnston County, and provides a pet pantry for pet owners that need a little help. Through these programs, and community education, we hope to reduce the number of domesticated animals that meet an untimely end simply because they exist.

What We Believe
Bailey's Human Rescue was founded on the view that we, as humans, are responsible for the domesticated animal overpopulation crisis that we are faced with today. Humans chose to domesticate these animals, and humans have failed to manage their populations properly. It is inhumane for us to exterminate the animals we created and managed so poorly simply because it is the quickest option. If we work together, and chose humane methods, it is possible to end this crisis without causing unnecessary harm to these animals.
