My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kim - Hound Mix - Female - 5.5 months - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Meet Kim: Born to a stray Dog who disappeared shortly after birth, this gorgeous little Hound mix Girl and her siblings Kourtney and Bruce lucked out when their finder quickly turned into an expert bottle feeder and the entire litter of pups flourished.

Kim is about 5.5 months old and likely a Hound mix, we estimate her to grow to about 60 lbs when adult, she is currently about 36 lbs. She is a little reserved in new situations, but loves to play with her siblings and is already and expert snuggler. She loves to be held. The pups are learning house rules, but are too young to fully understand house training, ongoing training with patience is required. As puppies do, new things are quickly explored with their teeth and learning the difference between appropriate and inappropriate play and chew is ongoing. The crew has had their first set of vaccines, and has been dewormed.

Kim is looking for a family with another suitable dog,so she can learn from that resident dog how to be comfortable around new things.  She  can go to a family with or without kids, she will need close supervision, frequent potty breaks and calm and patient training to grow into the gem we know she can be.
We are now accepting applications for these pups, they can go as foster-to-adopt to their adoptive homes and get spayed by 6 months of age finalizing the adoption.

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
