My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kourtney - Coonhound mix - Female - 11 weeks - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Meet Kourtney: Born to a stray Dog who disappeared shortly after birth, this gorgeous little Hound mix Girl and her siblings Kim and Bruce lucked out when their finder quickly turned into an expert bottle feeder and the entire litter of pups flourished.

Kourtney is about 11 weeks old and likely a Coonhound mix, we estimate her to grow to about 60 lbs when adult. She is a smart and inquisitive and gives her siblings a run for their money. She love to explore and ins quite confident. She loves a good belly rung and likes lots of attention. The pups are learning house rules, but are too young to fully understand house training, ongoing training with patience is required. As puppies do, new things are quickly explored with their teeth and learning the difference between appropriate and inappropriate play and chew is ongoing. The crew has had their first set of vaccines, and has been dewormed.

Kourtney is looking for a family with or without another suitable dog, she will likely learn a lot from being around another dog. She  can go to a family with or without kids, she will need close supervision, frequent potty breaks and calm and patient training to grow into the gem we know she can be.

We are now accepting applications for these pups, they can go as foster-to-adopt to their adoptive homes after their second vaccines, and receive remaining vaccines as well as spay surgery before finalizing the adoption.

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
