My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wonderful friendly Stoney needs a foster home while waiting to find his forever adoption home.  He is currentky located in San Diego, CA

Meet Stoney, he is about 3 years old and was descued from a high kill animal shelter, just before his time was up.  He is a mixed breed that we believe to be Dalmatian and Texas Heeler. He has the high energy and personality of a heeler. Stoney can jump high so needs a home with high fencing.

This boy is a bundle of fun.  He LOVES everybody including dogs of any size and any sex. He did spend a week with. 23lb cat and the interaction went well.  So it is possible that he might be good with house cats

Stoney loves to play chase and show off his fast running skills.  He enjoys days at the dog beach in San Diego.  He has good recall skills too for when he is off leash.

His at home boarding home describes him as a goof lovable boy that enjoys cuddling, especially at bedtime.  He has had basic obedience trainibg.  He knows sit, stay, lay and heis potty trained.  He does need some traing as he likes to jump up to greet people and initiate a greeting with.playful nips, which is  why we recommend a home without children under the age of 14.

He is not an annoyance barker.  He will barg to alert for stranger danger or unusual sound in and around the home.

Stoney's ideal home would be one with a yard and high fences of at least 6 feet.  A home with another dog to play and burn off extra energy.  An active family that likes to take walks, go to the beach, play fetch.  He needs to be a part of the family's homelife as an indoor family dog.  He also travels well in a car.

Stoney has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
