Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!**
Name: Rose
Nicknames: Rosey or Ro Ro
Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
Sex/Age/Weight: Female/2 years old/70 lbs approx
Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on prevention, dewormed, flea/tick/parasite free and microchipped.
House/Crate Trained: Yes/Yes
Rose loves her crate! It is her safe place where she can just chill, chew on her bones or take a long nap. Loud noises can make her uneasy so she prefers to just hang out in her crate until she knows everything is okay. She is even going to bring it to her new home. It is her favorite crate!
Dogs/Cats/Children: Yes/Yes/Yes
Energy Level: Being a lab, Rose has medium energy level when playing outside. She loves to play with her furry siblings, romping in the yard, exploring and sniffing or a game of catch! Whatever it is, Rose loves to be part of playtime! She can be a little rough on her toys, so “power chewing” toys are best. Because of her size she sometimes needs to be reminded she is a big girl when playing. Time to go inside? Rose is very calm and just chills with her hoomans, furry siblings or even goes in her crate.
Before FAR/My History: FAR rescued Rose and her siblings who were found living under someone’s porch as puppies. Rose was adopted but returned through no fault of her own.
Training Status/Commands I Know: Rose knows “sit,” “stay (when waiting on food),” “lay down,” “speak” and is able to be leash led. She is presently working on “come.”
Things I Like: Searching my yard for the perfect grassy sunny spot to roll around in! Playing with my toys and my favorite is snuggling with my hoomans and tricking them into giving me lots of belly rubs. Kiss time too! My people love my smooches.
Things I don’t like: Beside loud noises, Rose is on the timid side and can be nervous around new situations in her environment. She will need someone to encourage, assure her and stay positive while she understands all is good around her.
Ideal Family/Home: Rose is such a sweetheart and would do well in just about any home. She wouldn’t mind a furry sibling to play with and help boost her confidence.
