Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Misty was born on May 18, 2013, and was purchased from a local breeder. She has been in our family for the last 10 years.
We need to find Misty a new home as we are in a different stage of life now and are hardly ever home - which isn't good for Misty. She likes having people around her.
All of our kids have grown up and moved away - 2 to Nashville, and 1 in Germany in the Air Force. And our oldest is expecting her first baby now in Nashville - so we plan to be gone even more. And it's just too hard on Misty.
Misty is a sweet, calm and skiddish cat (afraid of loud sounds, etc.) and always has been. I actually thought about naming her "Skid" at one point because of it. But we are used to it now - it's just who she is. She likes being right up near you and next to you, but doesn't really want you messing with her too much. She'd rather be left alone. That being said, when we are gone - she makes it very clear how upset she is that we left, upon our return (meowing).
