My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beau is a very sweet and gorgeous 7-year-old spitz breed dog. Our best guess is that he is a pomsky. He has one brown eye and one blue eye and the softest fur. He loves snuggles and being with his owner. He also loves walks. He rides well in the car. We have 2 cats who he gets along with and 3 children who he adores. He’s good with young children and older children. He lives with a dog companion and would be a good fit in a household with another dog. I could also see him being an only dog just fine.

Beau chews on blankets and uses them to sooth him. He has high chew needs. He has anxiety and doesn’t like to be away from us for too long. The main reason we need to find him a new home is because he is an escape artist and runs away when he gets out. He will need an owner committed to keeping him on leash at all times when he’s outside. He can jump over chain link fences and get through deck rails. We’ve exhausted our ideas on how to keep him safe within our busy family.
