REMY NEEDS A FOSTER! PLEASE!!!
If you haven't met Remy yet, please let us introduce him now! He is listed as a retriever mix and is only a year old but has such good house manners and is a wonderful dog. Not only is he so handsome, but he excels in so many ways. He is the perfect gentleman in the home--doesn't chew or make a mess--and he is very quiet, hardly ever barks. And when he is offered treats, he takes them very gently. He is housebroken and loves to spend time in his indoor pen! It's very plush and nice and he has his own bed for which he is very grateful. He loves to go for walks and walks well on a leash. He gets so many compliments on his walks! And he is the perfect passenger in a vehicle--very calm and quiet.
Also, because Remy is so smart, he will make a perfect candidate for training. He gets along well with other dogs (especially the females 😘) and he certainly loves his humans! Physically, he is only about 45 pounds (or less), neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative.

Coming out of the Duplin County shelter, Remy is a handsome 50-pound lab mix. He did very well on the plane ride and was happy to see new people when he arrived. He is a two-year-old lovely, white dog blessed with a sweet disposition and gentle temperament. In the car ride to his next destination, he lay quietly in the back seat and did not move at all. He is a very friendly dog but not overbearing, nor does he jump on people.
He looks like a lab and seems to have the personality of that breed. We do know that Remy is good with other dogs, cats, goats, chickens and any barnyard animals.
