My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maru is a lovely girl but a little shy and nervous. Takes a little time to gain her trust, but then she is really loving. She plays with toys like a puppy. Will need a home that is willing to give her lots of love and some time to get used to the new environment.

Additional adoption info

Potential adopters are required to fill out an adoption application, once we evaluated that application we do a short interview and a chance to meet the pet to see the interaction with the family. If everything goes well, we proceed to the adoption contract.

More about this rescue

We are 501c3 foster based non-profit organization, dedicated to Rescue, Rehabilitate and find loving homes to dogs and cats abandoned in the streets, especially in the center of the island of Puerto Rico. Also one of our principal mission is to educate the community about animal welfare. With the help of a small group of foster volunteers, we give animals a chance to know the love and care of a home, while they are ready for adoption.
