My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rising from the ashes, we bring you Fennec! Fennec was rescued last year from the fires in Estill County, Kentucky. He spent 7 months in a rural shelter before coming to his foster home. Fennec is a hunky bully mix with hazy green eyes, ears as tall as mountains, and a hundred chocolate chip spots. We believe Fennec is about 2 years old, weighing ~45 lbs. He knows some basic commands such as sit, stay, and lay down. We are proud to announce that he is now kennel trained and will go into his kennel without being told. However, Fennec is still learning that playful mouthing is not good-boy behavior and does require the occasional correction. Once comfortable in his environment, he is the perfect balance of playful and cuddly. He loves to be comfortable and will lay on anything soft and warm! Fennec enjoys tanning his booty in the sunshine, chewing on toys, wrestling with his foster siblings, and snuggling on the couch. Fennec gets along with other dogs, large or small, as well as cats. He does need slow and proper introductions to feel at ease with other animals.
If Fennec seems like the right fit for you, please go to www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $210.00. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.
