My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Unfortunately, Gaston’s story is another that might make you a little sad. He came to us with a bunch of furry littermates back in 2019. We found him what we thought at the time was his forever home. Fast forward four years later, and this poor little guy was returned to ARC. People aren’t always prepared to train and raise a puppy, and that was the case with Gaston. Did you know we offer behavioral training with every adoption? We want nothing more than for our animals to find a true forever home!

In any case, we’d love for this playful, affectionate guy to get a second chance in a loving home. Why not come out and meet this handsome boy?

My ideal home:
I need a young, loving and experienced home to call my own!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
