Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maverick is the laid-back and gentle litter pup! He loves to snuggle in your lap and will fall asleep all cuddled up.
He behaves in the car, but is vocal about reaching his destination. On the way home he is quiet.
Maverick is doing well with house training and will let you know he has to go out by jumping at the baby gate and crying. Currently, Maverick needs to go out to potty every three to four hours. If taken out as soon as he wakes up and right after he eats, accidents can be avoided. He can still have accidents overnight, but will use a Wee Wee Pad.
Maverick’s foster home has several adult dogs and he responds well to correction from his senior mentors. Maverick plays too rough to be placed with cats.
Maverick is a sweet boy with a bounty of love to give! If you’re an active family with lots of time to devote to a puppy, you and Maverick may be a match for each other!

• Veterinary Reference
• Personal References – no relatives; not more than one person from same household.
• Phone Interview
• Home Check Visit
Please Understand:
• Please allow 5-7 days for a response.
• Any missing information will delay your application.
• DVSHR evaluates applicants on the best match for each dog; not a first-come, first-served basis.
• Placement of each dog is at the discretion of the dog’s foster home.
Adoption Fees:
• Puppies under 6 months: $450 adoption fee plus $150 spay/neuter deposit to be refunded upon proof of spay/neuter
