My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Michele (mballenger58@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

Lovable and quirky older gal

Shepie is a loyal and loving old gal. She doesn't appreciate new dogs in the home crowding her, and stays away from humans she doesn't know.

She has one front leg that she uses for balance and to move things or tap you to get your attention, but doesn't use for walking.

Shepie lived a rough outdoor life before rescue and she appreciates the comfort of a home. She LOVES being an inside dog and is very respectful in the home.  She also loves her crate with comfy bedding and goes there on her own when she wants to chill and rest. She enjoys her trips outside and rolls in the snow or grass, but is very happy to come back in.

Shepie doesn't like to leave home and will not walk on leash yet. A meeting with her will be challenging to accomplish, but she is well worth the trouble.

Her adoption fee is $250.  If you are interested in meeting Shepie, the FIRST STEP in CARE's process is to complete the online adoption application through CARE's website at: http://care.rescuegroups.org.
