Meet Max 💕

3 years old, shepherd mix (best guess), male, 57 lbs

Max came to us from a Ky rural shelter that was at capacity. He is incredibly sweet, and playful. Max loves other dogs, but will do best as an only pet. He doesn’t like sharing attention. He loves toys, and food puzzles. Max catches on to commands fairly quickly but will need consistency. He Appears to be house broken.

Max needs crated at night, and when away. He gets bored, and will chew things he is not supposed to. Max doesn’t love the crate but will go in when you toss in a treat. He might bark for a few minutes or if he sees you, and eventually settles down.

Max does well with kids loves all people but does jump when he gets excited.

He is current on vaccinations, heart worm testing, microchipped, and neutered.

Additional adoption info

We check vet references and do home visits. All current pets in the home must be current on vaccines, heart worm prevention, and spay/neutered. Once the application is approved we will schedule a meet and greet.

Our mission is to provide foster homes and medical care to stray, abandoned, injured, and surrendered animals until a suitable forever home can be found. To provide assistance to prevent overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. To provide homeless pets with the training they need to be successful and live a happy and full life.
