Rocky came to animal control as a stray, and the owner couldn't afford to take care of him anymore, so he was surrendered. He came with some flea allergy skin issues, but we took care of that quickly. He was immediately friendly with everyone, and we also found that he is very dog friendly.. He is very curious about other dogs, and his tail begins wagging... and it's playtime!
We pulled Rocky from the shelter as he was scheduled for euthanasia due to space, and we began his vetting. We found that he was heartworm positive but has completed the series and it now on preventative medicine. He is with a foster during this time that truly love him but want to see him go to his furever home.
You will not find a sweeter, happier dog than Rocky! He loves the outdoors. long walks, car rides and belly rubs. Rocky will also be neutered prior to adoption. As many dogs do, Rocky will chase cats, so no cats in the home please!
