My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LILLY has just arrived from Mexico where she was rescued from the scary streets – alone and hungry. That is all behind her now as Just Paws has promised to find her an amazing forever home where she will be cherished and protected. Lilly is a tiny poodle mix, weighing 9lbs, approximately one year old.

Lilly is a very sweet and affectionate girl. She loves to be petted and cuddled as it is her happy place with her humans. She gets along well with other dogs and she is playful. She enjoys basking in a fenced in yard where she can relax or play wither her foster sister, Sally (who is also available for adoption). Lilly is starting to adjust well to her new environment and learning where to go potty outside – only a few accidents so far. Despite her small size, she seems to be fine on stairs and can jump up on furniture. She has a great appetite. Lilly is doing well on a leash and seems to be enjoying going on walks.

Lilly is a happy and well behaved girl -- she likes to be with people, plus she is friendly when meeting new people. She is so loving! Lilly would probably like nothing better than to have a home where she is not left alone for long periods of time. We believe she will be good with children. So far her barking has been minimal but she has barked. She would do best in a fenced in backyard where she can bask in the sun and run around with Sally.
