Meet Sandy: This sweet and friendly girl is about 8 years old and has some special needs: she has been diagnosed with chronic dry eyes, which affects her vision and requires 2x daily drops, which she easily accepts. She can see some and follows voices when in unfamiliar settings, and she walks well on leash, trusting her handler to safely guide her. She is friendly and curious about new people, new smells and other dogs, is fully house trained and is looking for a comfortable couch to hang out with her person.

Sandy is looking for a quiet home with maybe older kids and older companion animals as she's not into playing much anymore, but she loves snuggle time on the sofa while watching TV and leisurely short strolls in the yard.
