We saved Maui from euthanasia at an overcrowded county shelter about a month ago (he was going to be euthanized due to the shelter being at overcapacity). He was super scared when we first pulled him out of the shelter, so his foster mom let him to come to him in his own space. By the end of day 1 with is foster mom, he warmed up to his foster mom and his foster brother.

He is still a pretty timid chihuahua so he needs a forever family who can be patient with him as he's adjusting to a new family and new home environment. He would love to have a small-breed dog sibling to help get him comfortable with the new environment, but he'll be ok being an only pet too.
