My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Rusty! I had been seen for about 3 weeks at the park in the desert. A nice lady kept trying to find me because I was getting pretty skinny. I decided one day that I wanted an education so I showed up at the middle school. It just happens that one of the teachers has a dog rescue so I got to go hangout in her classroom for the day. I loved it! Those kids just kept petting me. I was chipped so they reached out to the owner. He said that he had given me to a man when he moved. The teacher called the man and he said he was in Oregon and he had left me with his brother and sister in law. The brother said he gave me to someone else. My foster mom and the teacher know someone is lying. Anyway, they agreed to surrender me to the rescue. One of the fosters is a German Shepherd lover so she took me home. Boy oh boy did I score. She put me in with these two cutie shepherds. Even though I love it here I know that I would love my last forever home. I am well trained and super sweet. I have a lot of life left in me. My foster mom says I have the longest legs. If you would like to adopt me and let me live with you the rest of my life then please request an application.March 10, 2024, 11:55 pm

More about this rescue

We are veterans who came together because of dog rescue. We have similar views and respect for ideals. It is always about the dog with us. We want to make sure that the dog is a good fit for the home that is adopting them. Our dogs have not always had the best life and we believe they all deserve the best life can offer.
