Meet Tootsie! Tootsie is about 8 to 10 years old and 18 pounds. We believe she is a doxie mix or a dachshund and chihuahua mix. She is an awesome girl, just look at that smile! She is sweet and affectionate and loves being pampered and spoiled. Tootsie is housetrained and crate trained, she does great on a leash and loves to go for walks. She would love it if her people were home most of the time. At her foster home, she is crated at night, and when no one is home. She does great with cats and other dogs as long as she is introduced to them one at a time. She can get a little overwhelmed with too much doggy attention! Interested in adopting Tootsie? We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Tootsie.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
