We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Bono is a lovable and affectionate boy who bonds quickly to his person(s) He loves to be cuddled and is very gentle when taking his favourite treats! It may take him a few moments to greet new people but with gentle encouragement he welcomes a pat and a scratch behind the ears.

Bono is fully house trained and crate trained. It is best when leaving the home to keep him crated as he is still a puppy and may be destructive but when he is with people he just follows them around and as long as he is occupied or beside you he is content.

He walks well on leash but does have his moments where he will move in front, but with proper training we know that can be fixed. He can jump up but again, training will assist with this issue. He is food motivated, which will help him with all of these small problems. He is currently living with another dog and cats and gets along fine with all.

Bono’s ideal home would be one with a secure fenced-in yard where he could run and play. He is not too vocal and we do believe he could be in an apartment/condo as well. A fairly active family where Bono could enjoy lots of walks, hiking and wonderful adventures would be nice for him as he is still a puppy. He travels well and would make an ideal companion for anyone looking for a dog that is playful and fun. Bono would do very well with another dog in the home (not imperative) and cats are no issue for him. We advise children 6+ due to his size and his jumping.

Bono is an all around sweet boy who would make a wonderful companion. He is smart and loving and is waiting to find his forever home.

If you feel you would be the right fit for Bono, please fill out an adoption application at www.allpawsmatter.ca\

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.

BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
