Sierra Mist came to us as a puppy but, has grown into a beautiful young girl. She was rescued from a domestic violent home. (She wasn’t abused) Sierra Mist is a female, medium-sized, 1.4 yrs old Pit Bull mix looking for her forever home. She is a sweetiepie with energy to spare and will need an active lifestyle to keep her healthy and active.
Sierra Mist is a bit of a tomboy, but loves to be petted. At first, she comes a bit shy. It would take her a few days to come around and settle down. She sure love to run and play with the other foster dogs. Does well with Kids and cats

Puffies Rescue is a small family run rescue that saves dogs that are unwanted, abused, neglected, abandoned or are owner surrendered. I created this rescue to help save as many animals that we could, that are in need of forever homes and thus far have saved several hundred living and breathing animals to date.
The dogs are then placed in foster care homes, receive proper medical care, vaccinations and are spayed and neutered before being placed into their new home. The potential applicant is asked to complete a thorough application, complete with a veterinarian reference check and a home inspection is completed to ensure the animal is going into a home that is best fitted for them. We are one of the stricter rescues as we strive to ensure that the animals placed will be treated like one of the family and not go into the wrong hands as all too many animals do and end up going back to a kill shelter or ultimately parish.
Our mission is to help educate people on the need for spaying and neutering of their animals, which creates the overpopulation of so many; the horrific cases of abuse in puppy mills and why the need to adopt rather than shop; breeding; dog fighting and to help advocate against animal abuse. The statistics are ever so overwhelming and we hope that one day there will be no animal suffering from the hands of a human and that ultimately there will be stricter animal abuse laws.
