My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Please read FULL description before inquiring.*

Oli and Selah came to us separately and were adopted to different homes, only to be returned later at no fault of their own. They have been with us for so long, with virtually no interest, so we decided they may as well be friends!

Oli is a very sweet and quiet little guy. He loves his foster dog and cat siblings. He was part of an accidental litter from a pair of bunnies who were thought to be of the same sex. He is such a happy bunny and loves to binky.

Selah is a Hebrew word referring to a voluntary and intentional pause for reflection. However, we don’t imagine that this bunny wants to reflect on much of her past, from what we know of her past, but she is a very sweet bunny and will someday reflect on the day she went to her furever home.

Selah was turned loose outdoors after her family no longer wanted her. It is very likely due to the fact that she was very aggressive when she came to us, honking and biting when anyone approached her. As with a lot of bunnies that come to us, once they are spayed/neutered and in an adequately sized habitat rather than a cage, they become calm and friendly. A neighbor of the people who turned Selah loose noticed her being harassed by a crow, and they got her cage from them and provided care for her until rescue was found for her.

She is now a hoppy little bunny and very sweet and friendly. She loves to explore.

We estimate them both to be approximately 3 years of age.

If you're interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application at www.hhsar.org/adopt. The adoption fee is $90, which does not include a habitat, pen, or any supplies. We regularly have used habitats, pens, and supplies available for a donation fee. Please contact us for more information. We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a shelter location where our animals can be visited. We can arrange a visit if you're interested in adopting, but we require an adoption application to be submitted before.
