My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cuda is a Lab/Boxer/Pitbull/Chow mix.  We believe he is about 2 yrs old. He is leery of strangers but warms up if given the opportunity. When he arrived he was fearful to walk on leash and we have helped him get over that fear....he will walk fine for our volunteers now.

He is a work in progress and may not show well in his kennel due to the excessive # of dogs we currently have and the noise they create in the kennel.  Please ask to visit with him outside of his kennel if you have interest.

More about this shelter

We are a county funded shelter. Our operating budget is very limited. We are open to take in strays and owner turn-ins. We only have 29 kennels and our focus is to promote and adopt out the dogs we take in. We try to learn basic information on the dogs, if they know basic commands, are spayed or neutered, good with other dogs, etc. We do have helpful volunteers that will take a dog home to see how they are in a home situation. As with most shelters we do not know everything about each dog. Our fees to adopt are low. We CANNOT guarantee the health of any animal.
