You can call her a golden oldie or silver senior, but she’ll always be sweet Cece to us! She’s a gentle, adorable cat with a touch of senior sass who LOVES being around people—snuggling, cuddling, and generally being the centre of attention.
ABOUT CECE - In foster - Cece is a people’s cat who wants nothing more than love and attention from her humans. - She is more than just a beauty (as her name suggests in Latin). Cece is tender, friendly, affectionate, and she knows what she wants and how to get it. - When this darling diva sees someone nearby, she’ll run to “her” rug and demand pets! In fact, this has become a nightly ritual, and she will compel you with a stare. - She uses her vocal superpowers for good—or more accurately, for food. Cece will happily remind you with a song when it`s time for breakfast, which is often followed by her morning snooze either in the sun or on your bed. - While she may be senior in years, she’s young at heart and enjoys playing, such as chasing toys on her own or with her foster parents. - She’s very loyal to her people and is comfortable with visitors—especially those who will feed her. - Cece loves lounging from a perch on high (furniture or cat trees) and snuggling in her cat bed or her pillows. - She`s a lap cat, expert biscuit maker, and purr machine when she’s feeling happy and content. - Her foster mom reports that Cece has an intense “love stare” that she’ll use if she’s been missing her people, gazing deep into their eyes and drooling while she demands lap time. - Cece is an active cat in stable health, however, like many seniors, she lives more or less harmoniously with some chronic health conditions, specifically hyperthyroidism, irritable bowel disease, and arthritis. These conditions are easily managed with daily medication, which she takes in pill form, a special diet, and a monthly injection. - Cece is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
CECE’S IDEAL HOME - Cece must be the only cat in the house. - She craves companionship and would love a family who has the time to provide her with plenty of affection and attention. She misses her humans if they aren’t around (whether out of the house or just on a different floor!), so she’d appreciate a family where someone is usually home and available for her.
