Meet Jackpot! Jackpot came to us when we were trapping a few summers ago behind a local pest control business. We had been there a week trying to trap 2 tiny kittens. A young, orange tabby was closely watching from the nearby woods. He was very hungry and continued tp come out of the wood line toward the trap, I scared him away several times so he would not go into the trap, but it did not deter him - he continued to try to enter the trap. Out loud I said, "Okay, buddy. You need a home, too, I'm sorry. Go ahead in the trap. I will get you a home and keep you safe. Anything has to be better than livin' out here in the heat with no food. Go ahead."
After hearing my words, he came out of the woods for the the last time, stopped, looked directly into my eyes, and walked straight into the trap. The trap closed and he sat down calmly. I got the sense that he knew EXACTLY what he was doing. He had watched as the other cats walked into the trap and went into the car. I said to him, "Well... you hit the jackpot today, buddy." Hence his name, Jackpot. The place where he was found was right next to a large truck repair place. Did he get into a truck accidentally and travel far away from his home? Either way, this sweet boy is longing for a family to love him. He has been with us a few years now and he deserves to have his own family.
So...please meet Jackpot. Jackpot is a sweet baby, about 3 year old. He loves to be pet and will rub up against you when you enter a room, he can be picked up, but not for long - he would rather have all 4 paws soundly on the ground. As soon as you open the door, Jackpot jumps off his climber to meet you. He is very much a people cat and LOVES other cats. He loves to pair up with another cat and walk side by side - like they are attached by velcro. He will rub up against the other cat with his head. Jackpot had to be someone's once. JackPot is currently BFFs with Chet R. Cheese - adopt 1, get 1 free. However, they do not have to be adopted together as long as JackPot has a cat friend in his new home.
Jackpot is neutered, had his FVRCP and rabies vaccines, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.
His perfect home would be a quiet, low activity home, with Chet R. Cheese or another cat friend, he loves to pair up with another male cat.
Please give this sweet boy another chance at the lottery jackpot - his forever home - with a family who loves and cherishes him. You won't regret it. Ready to win this Jackpot? GoodMews22@aol.com or call 540.717.4420 You can fill out a digital application at:
Meet Chet R. Cheese. Chet R. (Cheddar) is a cat who literally came to us for a home - literally. He showed up on my porch months ago over the winter and ate and hung out. We believe he was either dumped or someone moved and left him behind. Chet is very handsome buff/light orange colored tabby about 2 years old.
He is a very friendly guy - right from the start. He talks to you and follows you around the house, sleeps with you and will be right beside you when you are sick in bed, and will let you know when you may be a little late with his dinner. He loves affection and loves being pet and held. **He would be a fabulous companion cat.** He is pictured with his BFF, JackPot, adopt 1 get 1 free. We believe that if the two are adopted together, they would be asy to acclimate to a new home; however they do not need to be adoped together as long as they have a cat friend in their new home.
Chet is neutered, had 2 FVRCP vaccines, a rabies vaccine, tested negative for FIV, feline leukemia, and heartworm, and is microchipped with a lifetime regisrtration (meanng you don't pay over $20 every year to re-register, it's done for life!)
