My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marigold,  a beautiful orange tabby cat. She was found as a stray and often came to the same house to eat for over a year. When the Good Samaritan realized she was pregnant, she contacted us and came into our care. That was a long time ago. Marigold was adopted and sadly returned when her hoomans moved and couldn't take her along.

Marigold is an orange and white female cat. She is very laid back, loving cat. Her purrsonality would lend itself to being the perfect companion or support cat. She just goes with the flow. Marigold had 6 kittens and took in another stray kitten that was orphaned. Now that her mom duties are over, she is looking forward to getting her own family.

Marigold is ready for adoption with an approved application. She is dewormed, spayed, had 2 FVRCP vaccines, a rabies vaccine, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.  For more info on our adoption process and an application, please go to:https://www.forgottenfelinesculpeper.org/adoptform

More about this rescue

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
