This girly who was formerly named Truly joins us from the Elizabeth shelter. She lost her home when someone tied her to a pole in a park in the middle of the night. It’s one thing to ditch your dog but a whole other level to be a coward about it! She appears to be a young girl based on her energy. Definitely was a recent mama. We see a sweet girl who is already opening up.
We were only able to pull her because our board member Nathalie is able to temporarily keep her until one of our fosters is back from vacation this weekend. Thank you ladies for freeing this girl from the shelter life.
Ariel does need further vetting so she will be looking for a foster to adopt home. Once she’s spayed and cleared, we will sign off on the adoption. She has been great with the kids in the home and even got a special bath by a future rescue girly. She is a strong girl who will need to walk properly on a leash. We have not seen her around dogs yet so we will need to further test that.
