Meet Maggie Mae – Your Perfect Snuggle Buddy!

Maggie Mae is a sweet and gentle soul with a love for cuddles. At around 8 years old, this adorable Dachshund mix weighs 31 pounds and is the ideal companion for a low-key, loving home.

Maggie is fully potty-trained and crate-trained, and she even knows how to "sit." While she may be shy around new people at first, Maggie warms up quickly and will soon be your loyal and affectionate friend. She does well with other dogs when given slow and proper introductions, and she has been living harmoniously with dogs of all sizes in her foster home.

This resilient girl has an inspiring story. Maggie was found abandoned under a church in Cypress, surviving for eight weeks on scraps from nearby restaurants. She was scared and unapproachable but has come such a long way, learning to trust humans again in her loving foster home.

Maggie’s dream home would be a quiet one with older children or adults only, where she can relax on the couch and spend her days snuggling with her person. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention.
