Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lara is absolutely beautiful. Her pictures really don't do her any justice. She is about 3 years old, and has longer hair. Her coloring is black and white except for on her back there is a tint of brown mixed in. Very unusual and cool.
A Good Samaritan noticed Lara living outdoors back in March. Most of male cats in the neighborhood are not neutered so no surprise she brought this person 5 beautiful kittens. All Kittens have gone to rescue, and now it is Lara’s time to find a safe and loving, forever home.
With all the unneutered males I wasn't shocked that Lara has tested positive for FIV, and negative for leukemia.. FIV is a cat specific virus. It is spread from one cat to another via a deep bite wound. You cannot catch FIV. Cats can and do live full lifespans with FIV.
LARA is a sweetheart and so deserving of a loving indoor home where she will be safe and loved. . She is also dog friendly, spayed and vaccinated. Lara is a bit shy but totally nonconfrontational.
To meet Lara, call me Kathy Deptola Animal Rescue 440 862 0610, kdanimalrescue@gmail.com Her adoption fee is $100 and you will receive copies of all her vet records.

Each potential adopter is questioned regarding their past and current pet history. Understanding what you are looking for in matching up one of my current adoptees, helps to ensure a successful lifelong relationship.
Because I promote companion animals, all pets are required to be indoor pets only. A reasonable adoption donation is asked for every pet adoption. The fee for cats is $70.
All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract agreeing to the conditions of this rescue.

Go meet their pets
After potential adopters have been approved, I will schedule a time where you can either come to my home to meet pets I have available for adoption, or I can bring whoever you are interested in to your home for a meeting.

More about this rescue
Mission Statement... "To supply a temporary foster home for abused, abandoned, sick and injured animals, that will provide for both their medical and emotional needs, until a permanent loving indoor home is found".
Kathy Deptola Animal Rescue began animal rescue work with a local animal shelter about 25 years ago. Because I truly do believe in giving every animal a chance at life, I now foster and do animal placement out of my home.
Each and every animal that enters my home is given any medical care, rehabilitation and socialization that it needs. Never is an animal in my foster care destroyed because "no one wanted them", or because "their time ran out".
Patience and a lot of love are the keys to finding the right homes. Often times many of these animals have had a bad experience and need to be given guidance, love and reassurance.
Every pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, and blood tested...(Leukemia/FIV for cats), (Heartworm for dogs) prior to adoption.
