Our sweet boy Bronx got to enjoy some summertime watermelon today! ???? He's still looking for the perfect family to spend the rest of summer (and the rest of his life) with! We don't understand how someone hasn't scooped this adorable guy up yet! Bronx has won over many staff members and volunteers at the shelter. He is extremely friendly and absolutely loves to play! You can't help but smile when you're around his fun energy ?? He is a perfect medium size and would love to curl up on the couch with you after a day of play! Bronx is great with other dogs and would do well with a four-legged companion. This cutie deserves to find the very best home! Bronx is a Terrier mix, weighs 38 pounds, and was born on 5/16/2022. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Bronx must be an indoor dog. If you are interested in adopting Bronx, please email bahshelter@yahoo.com. The Bulverde Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1983 by Dolores Caldwell, BAHS is a no-kill shelter caring for up to 400 dogs and cats annually. The shelter resides on 3.25 acres of park-like land and houses indoor/outdoor kennels, a cattery, nursery/medical recovery building, agility fields, and fenced-in play yards.
BAHS is powered by volunteers and overseen by a Board of Directors. Our volunteers ensure the dogs and cats get plenty of exercise, playtime, and unlimited cuddles, love, and affection.
