We recently stepped in to help a local family in need. Overwhelmed with too many cats in the house, we took in five kittens and altered the remainder of their feline family. The five little ones, four boys and one girl, were born in early April, 2023. Beautiful tigers with such similar looks, making it difficult to distinguish who is who! They all have the best kitten personalities, playing, eating and just having a ball. Having so much energy means a playmate would be recommended in a new home.
Lotus is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
