My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

1 1/2 yr old Arnold was found as a stray and landed in a local shelter in late June '23. Upon arriving in our care, he quickly showed himself to be a super loving boy and got adopted within weeks. Sadly, he is now looking for a new home again due to no fault of his own. After several months of trying to integrate him with the older female cat in his adoptive home, she continues to be very stressed, lost weight and stays in one room. Arnold's family realized it was unfair to her to continue to live this way and reluctantly decided it was in both cats interest if he found another home. He is currently living in Annapolis, Md awaiting the opening of one of our No.VA foster homes. Posted 9/23/23

His original post: After only a day in his foster home, this boy has already shown that he's a lap sitter and a bed-buddy. Arnold is an absolute sweetheart, curious, playful, and friendly. He is not shy, loves hanging out with humans, and always tries to make friends with other cats. He plays with pretty much everything that moves (including humans' feet and legs) but reacts very quickly to a stern "hey" or "no." He is still a kitten at heart. With time, and another young, active feline playmate, he will be a very well-mannered kitty. While he can be independent, he also loves cuddling next to you on the couch, in bed or sleeping on your desk while you work. He will be a great addition to a family with another active cat who would like an energetic and loyal buddy.
