Coming all the way from a rough start in Kuwait, Nicholas is looking for a better life here in the U.S.! Sweet Nicholas is just 6 months old, but he's well-traveled! With vibrant see-into-your-soul yellow eyes and a extra long, jaunty black tail, Nicholas is still a bit lean from his hungry days on the streets. He still has a lot of growing to do, but his personality shines through even at his young age! This is a kitten who has no reason to like or trust humans...but he DOES. In fact, he LOVES humans, is high energy and very out-going! No hiding for this guy. He'll waltz into your life, make himself at home in your house, and settle right into the center of your heart. He's a cuddler and a lap kitty, even with strangers, who loves to give kisses and thinks his people are the best thing ever. He's looking for a family or couple to call his own, with an active kitty playmate. He is dog friendly, too. Adoption fees, which range from $145-$165, include all medical work (FELV/FIV testing, shots; spay/neuter, etc); home visits are required prior to final placement. The majority of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs or as a companion to another young cat/kitten already in the home. Sorry, but we do not adopt very young kittens to families with children under 6 yrs old due to safety concerns for both child and kitten. Adopters also receive a certificate for a free comprehensive wellness exam at any Caring Hands Animal Hospital.

We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. We do not have a shelter and rely on a group of dedicated foster homes to care for our felines until a "fur-ever" home can be found. We actively promote the importance of spaying and neutering and best practices in companion animal care. The majority of our cats/kittens come from high-kill shelters. We do not receive any government funding and rely on private contributions, 100% of which go to provide medical care, food and supplies.
