My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Rocky Mountain Breed: border collie pit mix Gender: male Age: 4 Good with dogs (big+small?): yes, both Good with cats?: yes Good with kids? (If so, what ages): yes Good with men?: yes Crate trained/in process of?: yes Doggy door trained?: no, but trainable Leash trained?: yes Knows any tricks?: basics Likes?: tough rubber toys and ropes. Likes to cuddle as he enjoys sitting and laying next to people when he's tired. Dislikes?: He doesn't like you reaching into his crate when he's in there doesn't like very loud noises Must haves: a slow feeder and lots of socialization Apartment dog?: Yes, as long as he gets a lot of other activity outside Fun facts?: Rocky enjoy the outdoors. He's been to the beach and in the snow and loves both. Sometimes his energy seams and list. Walking him in the city is tough a bit because he gets overwhelmed with cloud traffic. At a Park he will try to be every other dog in person there. Rocky likes to sleep and relax in the morning and usually gets a lot of energy in the afternoon. He is very easy and undemanding to care for, loves being petted, cuddles and belly scratches but will wait patiently until you are available to do so, is quiet, would be ideal for someone who works from home, let’s you know if he would like to go outside, rarely barks. Likes walks and hikes, very friendly with people and dogs. Loves water and laying in soft grass. He is doing very well, not grabbing treats anymore, not resource guarding, going outside on his own and even letting us know when he’d like to. He is still scared of cars and loud noises. Rocky doesn’t need a slow feeder. He’s very patient waiting for his food and takes breaks while eating.
