My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abby and her 2 siblings Darby and Penn came to the rescue as pups. They have just been overlooked and are playful, funny pups. Abby can be shy at first but she loves treats and will come for them. She likes petting and loves other dogs. Not sure on cats so would advise caution with them. She is ok in a car, learning it fast. She needs work on leash training. We just do not have the time it takes to leash train all the rescue bunch. She is loving, would more than likely love curling up on a couch with her person. She is a sleek, beautiful black with white markings.

More about this rescue

Morning Meadow Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization. We operate on donations. Our mission is to help neglected and abused animals find a lifetime home through adoption. MMAR also educates about animal care and the importance of spay/neuter. MMAR provides care and shelter to animals until they can be adopted. We participate in transports to all areas of the country. There is a great need in our area for a rescue since there are no options but a kill shelter.
