Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sapphire, a beautiful, all-white, young Siamese girl with sky-blue eyes and loving disposition.
She and her companion, Mocha, were abandoned together on the mean streets of South Central LA with collars on - that had gotten too tight. We don't know if Mocha is a sibling nor male/female. We're hoping to receive him/her ASAP.
Sapphire was very affectionate with the kind family who began feeding her in the parking lot of a Baptist Church and was also pregnant when she arrived.
Since then, she's been spayed and fully vetted. She was, understandably, fearful when she first arrived but it only took about 24 hours for her to warm up... showing her affectionate, social and chatty side.
Her full rescue journey is chronicled in Photo Album #30 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including updates on all our cats and kittens). Be sure to check out her YouTube video and you'll fall in L-O-V-E!!
Sapphire's adoption will include her:
* Spay surgery,
* De-worming,
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Rabies vaccination,
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution),
* and Micro chipping!
~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~
* Please only contact us if you'll be making Saphi a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors.
** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!
*** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates).
