Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This super sweet orange girl is front paw declawed and looking for her forever home. June can be a little timid at first but she will seek affection when she is ready for it. Her favorite napping spot is on a fuzzy blanket usually lying in the sun. She's been known to enjoy evening cuddles, strings to play with and would probably prefer to be an only pet. She tolerates the dog and cats in the house but hasn't shown interest in wanting to play with them. No small kids, as I believe unwanted extra attention would stress her out a bit. We've been feeding her a wet food exclusive diet (grain free as often as possible), which appears to have helped reverse her previous diabetes. That's right, the vet said she no longer has diabetes!

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?
