Colby is a gorgeous almost 2 year old cat who is back with his foster family and on the hunt for a new forever home. It’s taken him some time to get acclimatized here, and he’s finally ready to be reintroduced to the SAAP family. Colby is the quintessential definition of a cat. He wants ALL the love and pets on his terms, and he will make sure he gets it!! This includes standing on your keyboard right in the middle of a zoom and typing all kinds of fun things!! Colby can be a bit of a rough player, so a confident cat friend is would be best. He also likes to nibble a little too much when playing with humans, so no small children are recommended. He is fostered in a busy home with lots of (older) kids, cats and dogs. It may take him some time to warm up in a new environment, but he will be your work from home buddy in no time

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?

We need your help to continue our mission. We rely solely on donations and fundraisers. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation will go towards the rescue, care, and medical needs of the animals.
